A Core Scarf Free pattern [ENG]



For a last minute gift!

Materials:
*1 skein (approx 100 grams and 100 yards) of handspun corespun yarn or another heavy Worsted/Bulky weight yarn.
*About 20-25 yards of varieties scraps of yarns, ribbons and more (optional, for fringes)
*1 fabric flower (optional)
*A pair of 9mm (US 13) straight neeadles
*A pair of 8mm (US 11) straight neeadles
*tapestry needle

Abbreviations:
CO = Cast On
k = knit
yo = yarn over
k2tog = knit 2 sts togheter
k3tog = knit 3 sts togheter
sts = stitches
BO: Bind Off

Measures: unstretched 135x10 cm (53x4 inches), 165x10 cm (65x4 inches) fringed.

CO 12 sts on 9mm

Row 1-3: knit all
Row 4: * k1, yo* k1
Row 5: knit dropping all the yarnovers
Row 6-8: knit all
Row 9: * k1, yo twice* k1
Row 10: knit dropping all the yarnovers
Row 11-13: knit all
Row 14: *k1, yo* k1
Row 15: knit dropping all the yarnovers
Row 16-18: knit all
Row 19: k1*yo, k2tog* k1

Switch to 8mm
Row 20: knit all (13 sts on needle)
Continue in garter st (knit all) until piece measures 90 cm (about 35 inches) unstretched.

Switch to 9mm
Row 1: * k2tog, yo*k3tog (12 sts on needle)
Row 2-4: knit all
Row 5: *k1, yo* k1
Row 6: knit dropping all the yarnovers
Row 7-9: knit all
Row 10: * k1, yo twice* k1
Row 11: knit dropping all the yarnovers
Row 12-14: knit all
Row 15: *k1, yo* k1
Row 16: knit dropping all the yarnovers
Row 17-19: knit all

BO lossely.


Finishing:
Sewing the ends.
From your varieties scrap of yarn, cut 24 fringes 70 cm long each and knotting it two strands at a time.
Include ribbons, beads and many colors for your fringe and enjoy the effect!

Un collo per (quasi) tutte le stagioni

Uno dei pochi progetti che sono finalmente riuscita a fare per me!
Si tratta di un progetto facilissimo, comodo e versatile di Jane Richmond per My needles and I su Ravelry.

Si porta morbido come uno scaldaspalle o avvolto due volte attorno al collo come una sciarpa.
Io ho usato un Alpaca soffice e caldissimo e questo è il risultato

Happy Hippie Cowl Free pattern [ENG]


Materials:
1 skein of handspun yarn or another Super Bulky weight
yarn. I used 40 yards and approx 90 grams of my thick
and thin Corespun yarn.
A pair of 15 mm (US 19) straight or circular needle
tapestry needle

Abbreviations:
CO: Cast On
k = knit
yo = yarn over
sts = stitches
BO: Bind Off

CO 12 sts
Row 1-3: knit all
Row 4: * k1, yo twice* k1
Row 5: knit all dropping all the yarnovers
Row 6: knit all

Repeat rows 4, 5 and 6 until the piece measures about 58 cm (23”) or the length that is cozy to you.
End with 3 rows of garter sts.

Finishing:
BO loosely and sewing the ends.
Close the cowl with a silk ribbon or scrap of yarn.

Best Friend Cowl Free pattern [ENG]


Materials:
1 skein of handspun yarn [60 grams and about 65 meters] or
another Bulky weight yarn.
A pair of 9 mm (US 13) straight or circular needle
4 small buttons
tapestry needle

Abbreviations:
CO: Cast On
k = knit
p = purl
sts = stitches
BO: Bind Off
Gauge 10 sts and 9 rows = 8 cm (about 3”)


CO 25 sts
Work in 1x1 rib
Row 1: *k 1, p1*
Row 2: *p1, k1*

Repeat row 1 and 2 until the piece measures 45 cm (about 18”) or the length that is cozy to you.
Don't need the buttonholes!

Finishing:
BO loosely and sewing the ends.
Attach your buttons.

Magic Wrap Free pattern [ENG]



Materials:
1 skein of Be Sweet Bouclè Mohair (50 grams 120 yards)
1 skein of Be Sweet Magic Ball (50 grams 120 yards)
A pair of 9 mm (US 13) straight or circular needle
tapestry needle

Abbreviations:
CO: Cast On
k = knit
sts = stitches
BO: Bind Off
MC : Main color/ Bouclè Mohair
CC: Contrast color/Magic Ball

Measures: about 127x25 cm/ 50x10” very stretchy

Using one strand of Bouclè Mohair and one strand of Magic Ball CO 98 sts
Row 1: using MC k all sts
Row2: repeat row 1
Row 3: using CC k all sts
Row 4: repeat row 3

Repeat these four rows until the end of the skeins, being careful to leave enough each yarn to bind off.

Finishing:
BO very very loosely using one strand of CC and one strand of MC.
Sewing the ends.

Tortuga Shawl FREE version pattern [ENG]




Materials:
2 skeins of Noro Silk Garden Lite [100 grams and 272 yards] Colorway 2011 or another DK weight yarn.
4,5 mm (US 7) 24” circular needle
one stitch marker (optional)
tapestry needle

Abbreviations:
CO: Cast On
k = knit
p = purl
sts = stitches
yo - yarn over
k2tog - knit 2 stitches together
BO: Bind Off
Gauge not important!


CO 3 sts and knit 6 row in garter sts. Rotates 90 degrees and pick up and knit 3 sts, rotates and pick up 3 sts again (9 sts in total).
Work in stockinette st:
Row 1: k 4, Place Marker, k5
Row 2: k3, YO, Purl to the last 3 sts, YO, k3
Row 3: k to the Marker, YO, (Slip Marker)k1, YO, k to end

Repeat row 2-3 20 times
Repeat row 2 1 time
Row 4: k4, *YO, k2tog* to the Marker, YO, (Slip Marker) k1, YO *k2tog, YO* to the last 4 sts, k4

Repeat row 2-3 5 times
Repeat row 2 and 4
Repeat row 2-3 10 times

Alternates YO sections (row 4) until desired length.

Ruffles
When you reached the desired width works this way:
Row 1: *k1, YO* k1
Row 2: k all sts
Row 3: k all sts
BO very loosely and sewing the ends.
